has appointed a Louisville host committee to plan activities for people to participate in during the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games to be held at the Kentucky Horse Park near Lexington from Sept. 25 to Oct. 10.

The initial group has about 30 members and is similar to the host committee set up to plan activities in connection with the 2008 Ryder Cup, an international golf event at Valhalla Golf Club.
“Louisville is proud to be a partner with the World Games 2010 Foundation, Alltech, Kentucky State Government and the City of Lexington in welcoming the world to Kentucky for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games,” Abramson said in a news release. More.
